Wherever you go in Bihar, you will find Bhunja people standing on every street corner. But some shopkeepers have magic in their hands. The arm made by him has become famous far and wide. People come from outside also to eat it.

There is one such Bhunjewala near Samastipur Junction of Samastipur city. Every evening a cart is set up as soon as the sun sets. This is not today’s cart, it is 40 years old. 6 different types of Bhunja are available on it. Its taste was so strong on the tongues of the people of Samastipur that it remains so till now. Delightful salty mixture with gram murumure. The shopkeeper says it has no side effects. Fun to eat and light to digest. Digestion also remains fine. The specialty of this cart is that this bhunja does not spoil for 2 months.

This work was started by Mohan Kumar’s father 40 years ago. Now Mohan runs the shop himself. The shop has retained its flavor for the last 40 years. father’s inheritance
This popular shop of Bhunja is located in front of gate number 2 of Samastipur Railway Junction in Samastipur district. While talking to Local 18, shop owner Mohan Kumar said, earlier my father used to do this work. Now I am taking his work forward. This is the reason why around 300 customers taste the taste of Bhunja from our place every day. He said that Bhunja is prepared with special spices here.

Chutney Pickle with Bhunji
The specialty of this Bhunja is that here pickles and chutney are also given along with Bhunja. This chutney is made from gooseberry. Various types of spicy spices in Bhunj further enhance its taste. It is given by weighing as per the demand of the customer. Here the price of Bhunja is given at ₹ 10 for 50 grams, ₹ 20 for 100 i.e. ₹ 200 per kg.
